Man stole roses for girlfriend as Valentine's Day gift while drunk Herald A Dublin man shoplifted roses for his girlfriend for Valentine's Day, a court heard. Bernard Conway (55) was caught stealing the flowers the day before at a supermarket in the west of the city. Bernard Conway was charged with stealing flowers from Aldi.
